Hi James , I’m using your explanation for the first push down on the wrist . Does this have to have some force ? On a real kit ( not pad) I’m having difficulty with it . Does it need just to keep playing it over and over again in order for it to click (muscle memory ) as maybe I need patience here . Should you know when the stick bounces properly ? As I want control over this . Do I have to just hit this over and over again . How long until it clicks ? Thank you .

Hi James, l use ankle technic at 200 bpm max. What does the swivel motion motion do? I'm from the old school Dave Lombardo/ charlie Benante double bass. George Kallais started the revolution 11 years ago.

Grazie mille

This is strange. I am right handed, but I just confirmed that I am left-footed. I’ve always played bass with my right foot predominantly, but I was playing along to this (32nd notes instead of 16s) and my left foot is WAY stronger and more consistent. Makes sense bc I just now realized I skated with goofy stance my entire life. This is kinda blowing my mind

Hi, l play heals down at 210 bpm max with good power. It seems when trying to go at higher BPM'S the beater stroke gets shorter from the bass drum batter for speed to increase to higher tempos, Almost like your drum sticks on snare drum, the stroke swing is less at higher speeds?
