Let’s see together how we can improve our French grip finger motion and how it can benefit speed and endurance in our drumming!

Very clear and useful. Thanks
Hi ilike your video but I need to know how to adjust my pedal so it doesn’t hit my foot. I believe it’s in the spring tension. Help needed
Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses once in a while
Bro! How are u? There’s nothing after 1min 57sec.
Looks like this should be a Reel/Story...
This is a survival horror dude
Best Kataklysm drummer yet! 🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥
Hi James , I’m using your explanation for the first push down on the wrist . Does this have to have some force ? On a real kit ( not pad) I’m having difficulty with it . Does it need just to keep playing it over and over again in order for it to click (muscle memory ) as maybe I need patience here . Should you know when the stick bounces properly ? As I want control over this . Do I have to just hit this over and over again . How long until it clicks ? Thank you .
LoL
You are a really good person . I'm drumming and praticing for the last fifty year . Following your free lessons I grow up a century in less than a year !!! Thanks for your special soul !!!
Always amazes me
Hi James, l use ankle technic at 200 bpm max. What does the swivel motion motion do? I'm from the old school Dave Lombardo/ charlie Benante double bass. George Kallais started the revolution 11 years ago.
Tank a lot !
I love the sound of snare.
I can do it easily at your speed but what about a faster faster speed ?? 😂 Otherwise this technique has no interest to me ….. see Ramon montagner videos if you don’t know what speed I am talking about 😂
its a real tutorialllllll thank you man you are great
You really know how to break down the double bass drumming art rationally, and that really helps me plan my practicing sessions, thank you!
nice
Nice, I have to try this.
Grazie mille
This is the best explanation ever! Thank you so much
Slipknot stuff is too slow for my guy
great show in Tampa🔥
What meteonome app is that?
This is strange. I am right handed, but I just confirmed that I am left-footed. I’ve always played bass with my right foot predominantly, but I was playing along to this (32nd notes instead of 16s) and my left foot is WAY stronger and more consistent. Makes sense bc I just now realized I skated with goofy stance my entire life. This is kinda blowing my mind
Can't wait to watch you guys play this next Saturday!
Pulling my hair out trying to transition to the higher tempo 😅
Tama pedals rock. Sold my demon drives and ill never go back to Pearl. Tama pedals are just better
Osom!
Crazy control
Great content! Thanks 🔥
Out of all the videos on youtube this is by far the best instructional video on the heel toe. I had it after a few minutes even though I'm sloppy but I now have the jist of it. Thank you man.
This guy is very patience and passionate very good person 👍
thanks a lot!!! you always explain everything perfectly!!!
What if my leading foot struggles with ankle motion? Did I make a mistake whilst learning ? My left leg just gets it while right leg can't sustain constant tempo...
I habe the same problem
Same here
Tanks
Hey man, great practice routine! I checked a lot videos on the topic lately and this one is the best I found! Thx for that! One question: there is no difference between the ankle- and the heel up technique - They are identical, right? Cheers from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Minchia che ricordi..... Bomba!
Wish these videos were longer
Hi, l play heals down at 210 bpm max with good power. It seems when trying to go at higher BPM'S the beater stroke gets shorter from the bass drum batter for speed to increase to higher tempos, Almost like your drum sticks on snare drum, the stroke swing is less at higher speeds?
Great lesson, thank you so much 👏
Bring on the Payne
holy shit i just realized i tend to completely clench my toes when i play the drums thank you so much
A lovely little slow medley
Helpful. Gracias!
Ciao James, un video sulla constant release? Tecnica dei piedi incredibile di cui non parla molto un saluto dall’Italiaaaaa
Oh, I thought we don't??
What are your cymbals references ?
I get no rebound when my spring is off And have to reach down to pull It off the head
same problem! I use eDrum and my pad is the Roland KD10 It never comes back
And how to deal with left foot?
